There are a few quirks to work with/around when dealing with this data in Circuit Tools. Data logs are saved to C:\AXAutoXDataLogs, and files are named according to the date and time when they were generated.

First, the start and finish lines need to be set because the "GPS" points don't correspond to real racetracks (see below). For autocross courses, both the start and finish lines need to be set. For typical circuits, the combined start/finish line needs to be set.

Second, the "Gate Width" setting should be set to something small for autocross courses. A value of 10 seems to work well. This prevents the start and finish lines from being too long, which could cause issues with data parsing.

Finally, we are converting from video game coordinates to latitude/longitude coordinates. We put the lat/long coordinates near the Lincoln, NE airfield where Solo Nationals are typically held. Due to differences in how each AC course is set up, the points in the VBO files may or may not be on the concrete pad. It's best not to use the satellite imagery, but you may get lucky and have your course squarely in the concrete pad.

Occasionally the position on the map won't update with the selected data points. To fix this uncheck all the runs and select them again, that seems to consistently fix it
.
